Finished!

The cabinet/hutch that I've been working on for ages is finally finished! I am quite pleased with how it turned out, and pretty surprised too. It was one of those things that just never seemed to work out but when it finally did it was better than I imagined. So, here she is....

And before!

Now, I'm no photographer, especially when it comes to furniture, but you gotta have a look at all these lovely little details!

White, aqua and shades of turquoise!

I left the inside wood but I waxed it to make it nice and smooth.

Now, no matter how hard I try, I just can't capture the true colors very well! But I think the up close ones do show it most accurately. And just for fun, here are a few progress pictures I took when I was getting super excited about how it looked as I waxed it.

I just noticed that the picture above represents the colors pretty well!

 Shiny and soft! :D

Not shiny and soft yet! See the difference? Oh you'd have to be there to really see it. But I'm sure all you fellow lovers of wax know what I'm talking about.

And one more picture!

Now for the sad part. I can't keep her! We are moving soon so she is for sale. If I have any readers in the Houston/Galveston area interested in buying her, email me (hayleyyvonne87@gmail.com) or comment! Thanks for looking!

  1. Ohhh I just love these colours. So much so that I'm working on a hutch right now with the same combo. LOL You did a great job and I can understand what you mean about not capturing all the details...I don't have a fancy camera either. But when I tilt my computer I can better see the colours. Again... great job!
